The RCL Automotive 2024
Build a Mountain of Food Campaign

The 2024 Build a Mountain of Food Campaign is about to get underway!!

Our first stops are in Almonte and Carleton Place on Saturday, November 9th.

We’re looking forward to another year in support of local food banks in our 11 communities.

Area food banks continue to play a vital role, providing necessary assistance to the many faces of hunger in our communities, including seniors, single parents, the working poor, and unfortunately, many children.

11 Communities

The Build a Mountain of Food Campaign takes place in 11 local towns and villages in support of local food banks. The communities include Almonte, Carleton Place, Perth, Lanark, Smiths Falls, Westport, Elgin, Portland, Merrickville, Athens, and Delta.

Supporting OUR Local Food Banks

A number of food blitz days will be scheduled at area grocery store locations to help Build a Mountain of Food. Along with our many partners, we will once again be on the roads to collect food and cash donations. All food and money collected in your community stayed in your community.

Follow Along With Us

This year, myFM 88.1 will be providing ongoing promotional announcements and weekly on-air interviews with our food bank representatives and reports from our food blitz locations.

Your TV will also be supporting our campaign with ongoing coverage.

In addition, this year, follow our Build a Mountain of Food Facebook page for extensive video coverage of the campaign, including live streaming coverage using Facebook Live from all of the Build a Mountain of Food locations, as well as special video interviews with our many contributing businesses and community organizations who are an essential component of our Build a Mountain of Food campaign.

Sharing is Caring

This year we are excited to have all of the action on Facebook Live so you can see it, share it, and watch it anywhere and anytime you want to! Use the Hashtags #BAM to keep up with all the latest developments.
